Dr. Lauren Cannavo attended the University of Scranton where she received her bachelor’s degree in Biology. She obtained her doctorate degree from the University of Medicine & Dentistry of NJ and was selected to complete a General Dentistry Residency program at Overlook Hospital, an affiliate of the renowned Mount Sinai School of Medicine.

Dr. Cannavo has been proudly serving the dental community for over 20 years and keeps current with the latest advances in dental medicine by regularly attending continuing education courses. She is certified in both Solea Laser dentistry and ClearCorrect aligner therapy. In addition, she is an active member of the New Jersey Dental Association, as well as the American Dental Association and Spear Study Club. Over the years, she has used her gentle and caring chairside manner to build positive and trusting relationships with patients of all ages.

Dr. Cannavo met her husband, Christopher, while attending the University of Scranton. In 2015, they relocated their family to Warren County and look forward to raising their children in Christopher’s hometown of Washington.

Dr. Heather Platt attended the University of Delaware where she obtained her bachelor’s degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry in 2006. She then obtained her doctorate degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (now known as Rutgers School of Dental Medicine) in 2011. She was on the Dean’s List all 4 years of dental school and invited into the Gamma Pi Delta Prosthodontic Honor Society upon graduation. Similar to Dr. Cannavo, Dr. Platt was then selected to complete a General Practice Residency program at Overlook Medical Center, an affiliate of the renowned Mount Sinai School of Medicine.

Dr. Platt has been serving the dental community for over 11 years and keeps up with the latest advances in dental medicine by attending continuing education courses. She is a proud and active member of the Middlesex County Dental Society, New Jersey Dental Association, and the American Dental Association. Dr. Platt also recently completed courses to become part of the NJ State Identification Team with the NJDA.

Dr. Platt met her husband, Brian, while attending the University of Delaware, 17 years ago. After dental school, they moved back to Dr. Platt’s hometown in Hunterdon County and have two children, Mackenzie and Carter. When not practicing dentistry, Dr. Platt enjoys traveling, watching football & going to the beach with her family. Dr. Platt is excited and grateful for the opportunity to serve patients back near her hometown.

Lisa graduated with an Associate of Applied Science degree from Bergen Community College in 2008 and has worked as a Registered Dental Hygienist for the past 12 years. She attends continuing education courses regularly to stay current with the newest advances in dentistry and is licensed to administer local anesthesia. The best part of her job is providing patients with the highest quality care and her greatest reward is seeing a patient’s oral health improve.

In her spare time, Lisa enjoys spending time with her husband and two boys.

Tina graduated from the University of Medicine and Dentistry in 2012 with an Associate in Applied Science degree and a license in local anesthesia, and has been practicing as a registered dental hygienist ever since. She continues to build her education by attending classes involving the newest technology. While focusing on patient care, she understands that people have anxiety when they enter the office. She always does her best to make each experience at the office an easy and enjoyable one.
In her spare time, she loves fishing, playing with her dogs and gardening.

Stacey graduated with an Applied Science degree in 2000 in Dental Hygiene & since has held licensing and practiced in four eastern states.

Stacey’s commitment to relationship building with her patients is a cornerstone to her practice. Her extensive knowledge across many dental specialties allows her to strategically identify challenges and create solutions. Partnered with her extensive knowledge, her gentle approach creates a calm patient experience.

Stacey’s free time is shared with her husband and four children.

Callie joined WCDC shortly after Dr. Cannavo took over the practice in 2015. She is a graduate of North Hunterdon High School – class of 2009. After graduating high school, she continued on to complete the dental assisting and radiography program at Warren County Community College.
As much as she loves her work and her patients, she also enjoys hiking, snowboarding, reading, spending time with her family and is obsessed with her dogs and cat.

Theresa joined our Warren County Dental Center family in October of 2017. In addition to dental assisting, Theresa also works as specializes in taking dental impressions and making custom dental appliances for our patients.

Theresa is a longtime resident of Warren County. She graduated from Warren Hills Regional High School and then from the Warren County Community College Dental assisting and Radiography program. Theresa has her NJ Dental Radiography license as well as a background in orthodontic assisting. She enjoys building a relationship with her patients and helping them to be comfortable during their dental visit. Theresa currently lives in Franklin Township with her husband Bill and their children. She enjoys baking, gardening and spending time with friends and family.

Sierra came to join the WCDC family in June of 2021. She came to us from the field of ophthalmology and was eager to expand her knowledge by training in dentistry. She is currently pursuing her Associate’s degree in Biology at Warren County Community College. Sierra loves filling her head with knowledge and is always up for new challenges.

In her spare time, Sierra enjoys reading, antiquing and spending time outdoors with friends and family. She loves the cool chill of fall and is obsessed with her fur baby rescue cat, Harley.

Joanna Working alongside Sarah and Andrea, Joanna joined our administrative team at WCDC in January 2021. Always cheerful and with a smile, Joanna welcomes each patient in a warm and friendly manner.
Born and raised in Bergen County, Joanna graduated from Northern Highlands Regional High School in Allendale, and attended Eastwick College of Health and Medical Sciences in Ramsey, where she obtained certification in medical assisting. For the past 23 years, Joanna worked as a medical assistant and front desk receptionist in Hackensack for a well-known surgeon.
 
Joanna lives in Belvidere with her husband Pete, and their 3 children, Brianna, Isabella and Nicholas. Joanna enjoys spending time with her family, including her parents, who still live in her home town of Allendale.

Sarah joined our Warren County Dental Center family in July of 2021 as the treatment coordinator of the administrative team. Following your dental appointments, you will find her at the checkout desk, ready to go over any treatment you may need to schedule. She takes pride in making sure our patients are well informed about their treatment and comfortable with the finances accompanying their visits. In addition to her checkout duties, she also crosses over to assist Joanna and Andrea with scheduling, billing questions and other administrative tasks.

Sarah came to us with over 6 years of experience with previous administrative duties at a dental office in Central New Jersey. She is a major animal lover and currently lives in Asbury with her husband, Mike and their fur children (1 dog and 3 cats). When she’s not at work, she enjoys gardening, spending time down the shore, antiquing and trying her luck on slot machines. She also loves getting in the car and seeing where the road takes her, often finding something interesting along the way.

Andrea joined the Warren County Dental Center team in 2020 as our insurance & billing coordinator. She is a graduate of the Massage Academy of the Poconos and is also certified in medical billing and coding.  She brings with her several years of experience working in both the medical and dental fields.  In addition, she has vast knowledge of many aspects of dentistry – including endodontics, periodontics & oral surgery.
In her eyes, the most rewarding part of her job is being able to provide her expertise in helping patients understand their insurance policies and copays. She takes pride in assisting our patients with utilizing their dental insurance to the fullest extent. 
When Andrea is not at work, she loves going to the beach and being outdoors.  She also enjoys spending time with her fiance and her two adorable Yorkies – Bella and Louie.
